Here is a small collection of picture of my sweet little girl, Sadie.
Sadie 2 days after we got her. I'm still not quite sure what to think... I think they might just love me though.
Sadie and Chloe. Wow, after 1 week I love my new Sister.
Sadie and Chloe playing. Chloe has arthritia and will not play rough. Sadie seemed to know this and chose to play accordingly with her.
Sadie at about 1 year of age. "I really want that laser dot momma... please let me get that laser dot." If only she were that intent on the watching me for commands, etc. ;-)
Sadie front view at about 1 year of age.
My next door neighbors went "back to school" shopping and found me my very own doggie backpack. I even look patriotic in it, too.
Mommy made me wear this silly thing, but Daddy I really can swim good. Do I have to wear this thing? It is just in the way when I try to catch those fish and get those rocks from the bottom.
Sadie began her life with us on Aug. 18, 2000. We flew down in our Cessna 172 Skyhawk N3747L to Tennessee. This was Rob's first long crosscountry since getting his pilot's license. We flew into Chattenooga, TN, and drove out to the HAND Foundation at LookOut Mountain, Georgia. We met Tahlullah, and the 3 English Shepherds she housed for rescue. We met the 3 dogs and decided Sadie, the young female, was the right choice for us. We loaded up Sadie and soon were headed back down Lookout Mountain toward Chattenooga, TN. Upon getting to the airport we loaded up everything and headed for MI, to visit family. We decided that it would be better for Sadie to bond with us a little before she met the other 2 dogs at home.
